Otis College offers two graduate MFA programs in Fine Arts and Graphic Design, each led by renowned faculty who are redefining their respective fields. CCA includes a First Year Program that introduces students to studio practice and includes a portfolio review at the end of the year. Finally, CCA offers numerous resources for professional development and networking in the arts that will help students embark on fulfilling careers. Mixed media, fashion, book arts, furniture design, curation, experimental animation, toy design—these schools cover the spectrum of arts careers. Change of major applications will be considered only for current UCLA students who have successfully completed at least one quarter at UCLA and are in good academic standing. The number of accepted applicants is based on the current total enrollment of undergraduates in the department.

The room is anchored by a Riva 1920 table made with the wood of a 50,000-year-old Kauri tree, which Levine surrounded with seating for 12. Another seating area with views of the garden was designed for more intimate dining, games, or meetings, and it’s illuminated by a Murano glass chandelier. This Junior Thesis course includes a review of the 2D/3D/stop-motion production pipelines and soundtrack synchronization. The BFA program culminates with Animation Thesis I, 2 and 3, completed over three semesters. This final film project will be viewed at the end of year Animation + VFX Showcase in Woodbury’s campus theater, equipped with surround-sound and 4K projection.

The Department prefers that students have fewer than 90 units at the time of application to ensure a normal degree completion time. Students with more than 121 units (excluding AP and Design Media Arts courses) will not be considered.
